Family Reading Night - Wednesday, April 17, 2019
Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade families reading and sharing short chapter books
Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade families reading and sharing short chapter books
The Rick Marcotte Central School library is pleased to invite your participation in Family Reading Night, thanks to the generosity of a grant from our PTO. This is an opportunity for you to share a book with your child (and perhaps with your entire family), then gather together to discuss the book with other families during a special evening here at school.
Books will be provided through the library to any family who submits the contract attached to this letter. Participating families will read one of the books together and then attend a book discussion during the evening in April. Families will gather in small groups to talk about the book with others who have read the same one. This event is geared to Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders, but older and younger children in your family can participate with your family as well. |
